NARRATION

The page below shows how a typical portion of a page from one of our Talking eBooks will function. Left click on the SPEAKER icon to hear the narration. As soon as you click on the SPEAKER it will be replaced with two buttons. The top one is a PAUSE button. Clicking on it while the narration is playing will pause the narration and the button will change to a PLAY button. Clicking on it again will resume the narration from the place it was paused. This can be done as many times as you like. The bottom button is a RESTART button. Clicking on it will restart the narration from the beginning. As soon as the narration reaches the end the initial SPEAKER button is displayed again and the narration can be replayed.

TALKING WORDS

All words are clickable. Placing the mouse curser over any word in the story and then left clicking on it will sound out the word. This can be done even while the narration is playing if desired. You can then click on another word, and another, as many times and in any order you wish. The only limitation is you cannot click on the same word two times in a row (unlike this demo), you must click on any other word first before clicking on your word a second time.
